3-day Rasa Yoga Immersion into the Alchemy of Yoga

Calling all yoga teachers, deep practitioners, and community members

Join us to:

Transform your practice and launch your teaching to the next level in this 3-day Rasa Yoga intensive for teachers.

Rasa Yoga focuses on the alchemy of yoga: mantra, mudra, asana, pranayama, meditation, functional anatomy, shadow work, and Tantric yoga philosophy.

The phoenix is one of the most legendary symbols of alchemy. This mythic firebird represents rebirth, truth, healing, devotion, and divine life purpose.

We are rebirthing ourselves in 2022. We have learned so much in these last two years. We are different. We are ready to create something new and be part of a force that honors both personal transformation and collective liberation.

The alchemy of yoga holds the essential understanding that a balanced yoga practice is both Fire and Nectar. The morning sessions are dedicated to Fire Sadhana and the afternoon sessions to Nectar Sadhana.

The heating aspect of the practice is called tapasya – “that which heats up” or agni – “fire” and the cooling aspect of the practice is called soma – “moonlight” or that which offers the nectar of the practice. Agni & Soma together offer balanced energy so the yogin both burns away the dross and receives nourishment through the practices.

Without fire in the practice, there is no transformation. Without coolness in the practice, then the yogin can burn out. Fire and Nectar are the complementary opposites and the yogin cultivates both in practice and life.

Henley-on-Thames was first described in the 12th century and is today considered one of the most beautiful English market towns with many interesting historical buildings. Overlooked by a Chiltern landscape of wooded hills and green fields and right next to the River Thames, Henley is definitely a beautiful place to visit!

Best known for its annual Royal Regatta, Henley attracts some of the world’s finest rowers. You can enjoy your own boat trip down the Regatta course and stop off at the town’s award-winning River and Rowing Museum. Housed in an award-winning building, the museum has lots of exciting exhibitions and displays and tells visitors the art and stories of the river, including the enchanting Wind in the Willows.

Our yoga venue is right on the main square where there are plenty of great restaurants and coffee shops. Just a two-minute walk away is the quintessential Friday Street, very well-known and loved for its intriguing and historic buildings, which gives a real sense of the Victorian era.
